Dissertation-to-Publication Workshop

We're solidifying plans for a Dissertation-to-Publication workshop for graduate students at the April 14-15 NYSSL chapter meeting at SUNY Fredonia (12-2 PM, Saturday over a free boxed lunch). We'll discuss whether to go the book route or the article route, and we'll consider best practices and talk about ways to plan for success.

For students interested in participating, we ask that you bring your dissertation proposals and an updated c.v. (Proposals should also be sent to Dr. Kimberly Francis ahead of time so that she might provide some comments as well - kfranc02 'at' uoguelph.ca .)

We're also asking that participants please register. To do that, you should send an email to Jim Davis (davisj 'at' fredonia.edu) stating their interest. We hope you'll help spread the word and encourage other graduate students at all levels of study to attend. It's never to early to start thinking about publications!
